This past Saturday marked 44 years since the first manned mission to the Moon. One enduring legacy of that giant leap for mankind is the fashion it has inspired. Case in point is the Issey Miyake Men Fall 2013 campaign starring Taylor Cowan. The campaign photographed by René Habermacher features two of the collection’s most eye-catching looks hearkening back to the early Space Race. Taylor wears a gold parka, which employs the sort of metallic film typically found in emergency blankets. Whether used to hurtle through the planet’s atmosphere or stroll the streets of Paris, Taylor wears it well and clearly possesses the right stuff to make this memorable advertising.
