Tom Ford knows a thing or two about men’s grooming. Indeed, the former Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent creative director himself famously takes three to five baths a day, but as reported last month in WWD he is also launching a men’s skincare and grooming line and has tapped Juan Betancourt as its campaign face. Since the successful launch of Ford’s signature makeup line for women a couple years ago it would appear that the men’s market would ultimately follow. “I was never drawn to walking in women’s shoes,” explained Ford to the Telegraph in 2011. “But makeup? That I’m serious about.” Just how serious about makeup Ford is has been confirmed by the casting of the smolderingly handsome Juan Betancourt for his inaugural men’s luxury grooming collection.
Tom Ford for Men launches in November of this year and will include six multifunctional, high-performance skincare products and two products for grooming.
